Thank you for visiting the Giving Page in honor of the 20th anniversary of Chris Polak's passing. Chris passed away at the age of 17 as a result of an aggressive form of cancer. During these last 20 years, we have witnessed many changes including advancements in research and treatment for germ cell tumors as well as the global pandemic we currently find ourselves in today.
While we wish we could all get together to celebrate the memories that we all have of Chris, we are instead fundraising for a special cause.
The donations, we are seeking, will go towards the Adolescent and Young Adult Waiting Room in the Jimmy Fund Clinic at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This room will be designed to allow patients of this age group to have the opportunity to bond and build relationships. This room would have been of great benefit to Chris had it been available 20 years ago.
We appreciate you taking the time to visit this page as well as any donation that you can contribute. If making a donation, there is a location to write a private/personal message and if willing, we would love to hear a memory that you have of Chris.
Wishing everyone good health and safety,
The Polak Family
Chip, Marge & Paige
