In Memory of Songtang Zang's Fundraising Page

Mr. Songtang Zang, 87, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away
peacefully on Nov. 30, 2020 in Boston, MA, surrounded by his loving
wife, daughter, and grandson. Songtang was born on December 31, 1932 in
Shanghai, China and was the youngest of three children with two older
brothers. Songtang was a devoted husband to his wife, caring to his four
 children, and a wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren. With his
family, he traveled and lived in many places of China and in the United
States, including Shanghai (上海), Ningbo (宁波), Hangzhou (杭州), Shenyang
(沈阳), Heifei (合肥), and Anqing (安庆) in China, as well as Wellesley,
Boston, Newton, Needham, New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia in
the United States. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his
family.

Songtang was a handsome, smart, gracious, and abundantly kind
gentleman who loved to stay busy but valued quiet time with his family.
Upon graduating from high school in Shanghai, Songtang began his
professional education and graduated from Zhejiang University in
Hangzhou in 1956. Songtang was passionate about engineering,
woodworking, and learning about computers and English. Songtang was a
responsible husband and a devoted and loving father and grandfather.
Eleven years ago, Songtang and his wife Yiling moved to his daughter's
home in Wellesley and later in Boston in Massachusetts in the US. He is
survived by his wife Yiling, his three sons, Heming, Hexiang, Hefeng,
and his daughter Mengwei, and their spouses, Xiuqing, Xining, Ping, and
Qinggong. He also has three grandsons Jiankun, Jinyan, and Jiayu, and
one granddaughter Yingchao.

A cremation ceremony was held at St. Michael Crematory, 500
Canterbury Street, Boston at 10 AM on Friday December 4, 2020.
His family will have a memorial service for Songtang digitally due to
the COVID-19 pandemic and hope to meet his loved ones safely in-person
at a later date. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family and dear
 friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Songtang may be

松棠是一位英俊聪明和非常和蔼的先生他喜欢忙碌但很珍惜与家人在一起的时光。松棠在上海中学毕业后开始接受专业教育并于1956年毕业于浙江大学。松棠对机械工程土木工程以及对计算机和英语学习充满热情 松棠也是一个虔诚而充满爱心的父亲和祖父。十一年前松棠和他的妻子一玲一起到美国萨诸塞州韦尔斯利女儿家中后来又搬到了美国的波士顿家居住 。在美国萨诸塞州他和他的妻子一玲女儿梦维女婿庆功和外孙锦延生活在一起。在中国他和他的妻子一玲他的三个儿子翔峰及其他们配偶秀清西宁和萍以及他的孙子健坤嘉钰和孙女颖超生活在一起。
