WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
On Saturday July 10th the Projector team will hold a walk to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and to remember our friend and colleague, Jeff Richman, who passed away in April after a 4-year battle with lymphoma.
Our team has set a goal to personally fundraise $2,500 for Dana Farber, an organization that Jeff respected and admired, and that provided him with care and treatments during his lifetime. Projector will match dollar for dollar up to an additional $2,500, to allow us to achieve our ultimate goal of $5000, and to ensure that Jeff's name will be listed on a memorial tile at Dana Farber.
Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts like ours to advance Dana-Farber’s mission.
