We created this page in memory of Donald Potas, who lost his battle with cancer on May 19, 2021. Don was a loving husband, father, son, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many people.
He was always quick with a smile and easily made others laugh. The most stubborn man you’d ever meet he wouldn’t give up fighting. Those of you who had the pleasure of knowing him knew he would balk at all of this sappy “in memory of” stuff. So all we can say is raise a glass and have a drink or maybe play a game of let it ride at Mohegan for him.
Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advance Dana-Farber’s mission.
We want to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Dana Farber for his excellent care and for just being the most amazing people.
