2021 Recap - You Guys Rock!
In 2021 for our HOPE event, Traci & Stephen's Beach Bums raised $5,830 for our annual HOPE...It's a Beach Thing 5K Walk/Run. This was a team high that helped drive our biggest fundraiser event yet. Holy smokes!
It feels amazing to feel the support from you all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Know that you are not only supporting our family in honoring our dad/father-in-law, Tim Beach, but just as importantly - you are supporting other brain cancer patients and their families.
The Annual HOPE...It's a Beach Thing 5K Walk/Run has been such a fulfilling way to honor our father/father-in-law, Tim Beach, who passed away from a Glioblastoma (GBM) brain tumor in 2012 at the age of 53. While we started this event in his memory, we continue it also to help support the families who are going through what we've been through - giving them an uplifting message support, and HOPE that there is encouraging research and advanced treatment options available if they choose to battle this cancer head on.
Our 11th annual HOPE...It's a Beach Thing event supports the Jimmy Fund which raises money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
When you participate or make a gift, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can conquer cancer!
Love,
Stephen & Traci Beach (Bums)
