WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
The Jimmy Fund has been the primary charity of the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association since 1953- the same year the old Boston Braves partnered with the Jimmy Fund! We're very proud of this decades-old relationship with an outstanding team of health care professionals! The COVID-19 pandemic did not pause cancer and we cannot let it pause the critical research and fundraising needed to fund a cure! We would be honored to have you join our team. You do not have to be a Police Chief or Police Officer!
By participating in the 2021 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and compassionate patient care. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
