Not going down without a fight.

Join my team in raising funds to help fight cancer.  I am alive today because of an amazing team at DFCI, but also because of the research and wisdom of countless scientists working tirelessly to find a cure. 

In 2018 I stepped through the doors at DFCI and was instantly
enveloped in a world of care.  Every step of my cancer journey, my team
has been indefatigable in their efforts to find a cure, and are the most
 caring and compassionate caregivers one could imagine.  In January of  2020, less than six months after my last infusion,  I learned my cancer had metastasized in my liver and lungs, and my care team came together stronger and more determined to help me fight.  

Funds raised by those before me help me with vital programs that gave me hope and the strength to fight  Some of these programs are: Soulmates, Embrace, Young and Strong, The Zakim Center, and Friend's Place that outfitted me with a wig and many products to combat the side effects of chemo.  Most importantly, funds raised have helped develop new technologies and treatments so my team can continue to help me fight with a myriad of options. 

I am hopeful that raising funds to find a cure will give  everyone a fighting chance - and one day, we may have a world without cancer.

Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate care. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
