The Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Hospital Gastrointestinal Cancer Center is committed to providing the highest level of patient-focused, multidisciplinary care, while conducting cutting-edge research. Our center is home to one of the nation’s premier clinical care and research programs, dedicated to our patients and families and complemented by an extensive array of researchers singularly focused on new innovations in GI cancer treatment, early detection, and prevention. Physician-scientists within the center lead the nation in the study of GI cancers and are making groundbreaking discoveries that will soon emerge as the next generation of therapies for our patients.
Each year, patients, family members, doctors, nurses, researchers, and administrators, who are devoted to our cause, have joined Team GI to mark their solidarity and raise monies that vitally fuel our battle against GI cancer. In the past year, Team GI donations fostered the study of new therapies for GI cancer developed at our center as well as other important innovations for our patients.
By participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
Please join Team GI today or make a contribution to our Team. Your work for Team GI will bring us one step closer to eradicating these cancers.
