WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Please support the Young Adult Program's team! We are a group of young adult patients, caregivers, supporters, and friends walking the Jimmy Fund Walk together to raise funds for Dana Farber's Young Adult Program (YAP). YAP provides emotional support services, opportunities to meet other young adults receiving treatment, and educational programs aimed at enhancing knowledge and self-advocacy skills. Last year, the YAP Jimmy Fund Walk team raised over $30,000 to help fund YAP programming events including the Annual Young Adult Cancer Conference which will reach over 150 young adult patients and families in the Boston area. We hope to raise even more this year to support the next conference and additional programming.
