We all have been touched by Cancer with ones we love. For our family, this is a wonderful time to remember a very special person and her fight with stomach cancer. At the same time, raise funds and give to those battling with cancer today and for cancer research to be help patients in the future.
In 2006, our Sister, Wife, Mom, Aunt, Cousin and Friend~ Lee Yniguez Taylor~ had a nonspecific cancer diagnosis. She endured chemo and radiation to rid her body of the bad cancer cells. Her condition was a mystery to several oncologists, including ones at Yale. Lee fought with optimism, resilience, and relentless will to overcome her diagnosis. She gained strength from her loving husband Jeff, three children and family and friends around her each and every day. Her cancer continued to spread and it was at the time she lost her fight to cancer was her cancer identified as stomach cancer. Lee left behind a legacy with their three children as they live with her energy, hard work and spirit to be their best and always doing it all with a smile on their faces. She also touched so many of our lives as her loving family, longtime friends and co- workers inspired by her love and strength every day.
We love her and miss her very much and know she continues to guide us all in being our Best!
Dana Farber Cancer Institute was one organization Lee visited for a second opinion. Since 2006, DFCI has progressed in stomach cancer research.
