WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
By participating in the 2021 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
We started a walk team in 2011 to support Suzie in her battle with Lung Cancer. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute provided outstanding compassionate care, the opportunity to be a part of cutting edge research and endless support throughout her journey. Suzie lost her fight to cancer in 2014. We continue to walk in her memory and so many others who we have lost to cancer or continue the fight. We are forever grateful to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and will continue to help in the fight against cancer.
In 2020, Casey Street Gang participate in a virtual walk (Walk my Way). Despite the many challenges during the Pandemic , our team walked from 10 different states and bet our fundraising goal! Our plan is to do it again in 2021!
