Last summer, while looking forward to his junior year in college (particularly lacrosse season), my nephew Will was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. That summer and fall, he completed a full course of chemo & radiation, only to relapse this spring. He has now completed a second course of chemo, a stem cell transplant & will be undergoing radiation again soon. Will is a fighter & has faced it with courage & a positive attitude. He says the experience has helped him grow as a person & become stronger mentally.
This is my 10th year participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk with my daughters, but it has never meant so much to me. Please consider supporting my Walk & the world-class patient care & research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where Will is receiving treatment.
