This October 4th will be 16 years TO THE DAY that our lives changed forever. October 4, 2004 was the day we were told our 5 year old daughter, Kaitlyn, had a cancerous tumor. The day you never forget. The room you were called into to "have a seat", the color on the wall, the furniture, the paintings on the wall, the doctor who gave you that devastating news. You struggle to breath, struggle to find air, to not collapse, to not scream, to try and keep your composure for your other children.
That moment, that moment is why I walk. It's a devastating moment I don't want to see any other family go through. I want to see the day that we beat cancer. Help me to prevent other families from having to have that moment. Please donate, every dollar helps!
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
