The friend or relative with cancer, the doctor who agonizes over not being able to cure a patient or celebrates success. The researcher who finds the answer to the question, the volunteer who comforts a child or family. The people who help to raise money, and those who fight to have a drug approved. They all have one thing in common- a huge HEART. This is why I take the time to reach out and ask for gifts because each minute, day, month and year that these hearts continue to beat- we will have a cure. And if you really want to know why I walk, well just think about being around 8000+ of these hearts for a day.
