On September 23rd, I will be participating in the 2018 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk to help change the odds for patients facing cancer. I have a personal goal of $3,000, something I can only achieve with your support.
A little more than 6 years ago, my dad was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Dad received a stem cell transplant and was treated at Dana Farber. I am happy to say that he is completely recovered and back to his usual crazy self. He is enjoying spending time with his grandsons, Ethan and Adam, gardening, and woodworking with his brothers.
We can’t thank Dana Farber enough for helping my dad beat his disease, and giving us many more years with him. However, we can help them raise money in their fight to end cancer. The amazing progress Dana-Farber has made in understanding and treating cancer is made possible by people like us walking, and raising money for this great cause.
I hope you will support my efforts by donating to my walk. With your support, we will all be closer to the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
