Once again I will be joining friends and family in this years Jimmy Fund Walk. I will be walking with cancer survivors and in memory of my sister in law who was treated at Dana Farber but passed away due to a aggressive brain tumor, glioblastoma, almost 9 years ago at the age of 52. Since then there have been many advances made in cancer diagnosis and treatment, and I will continue to walk in hopes of ending this horrible disease. This year I've committed to raise at least $1500.00. I've set my goal high because I know the money raised by the Jimmy Fund 's top fundraisers is critical to the innovative cancer research and exceptional patient care at Dana Faber Cancer institute.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
