I lost my mom to mantle cell lymphoma in 2015 and my father passed away in 1994 from bladder cancer; I have also lost other family members and friends. And I have friends who have and are struggling to beat cancer.
As with most people, your lives have been touched by cancer, whether you are a survivor, know a survivor or have lost someone close to you from cancer.
I have attended various Dana Farber/Jimmy Fund events over the years; strides that have been made in cancer research and survival rates improve every year, due in part to your generosity in donating to the walk.
I appreciate any amount that you can give. My goal is to raise $1500; I have raised almost $600 so far by putting a bucket on the counter of where I work in the summer.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, with your help, we can conquer cancer!
