I am participating in the 2019 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk on Sunday, September 22nd. For a second year in a row, we will be walking the full Boston marathon route from Hopkinton to Boston. Team Teaghan is walking in honor Teaghan Bres, and all of the other fighters stricken with cancer.
Teaghan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia over four years ago. She went through months of chemo treatment, shots, and procedures to help treat the cancer. We spent many weeks at Boston Children's hospital, and then months of outpatient care at Dana Farber's Jimmy Fund clinic. We have first hand experience of the care and work Dana Farber performs every day. These funds helped save her life, and will help save other lives in the future.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
