Hi everyone!
This year, I will be participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
As many of you know, my family and I hold The Jimmy Fund very close to our hearts. When you're 8 years old, the last thing on your mind is getting sick, never mind with a life-threatening illness. Unfortunately for me (and most of you lived this reality/know this story so I'll spare us all the details), this was not the case. My acute lymphoblastic lymphoma was treated aggressively, and for that, I will always be thankful. Thankful for my amazing Jimmy Fund care team (then and still now), thankful for my family & friends, and thankful for my life.
Without this institution, I probably wouldn't be here today.
I'm excited to spend October 6th encouraging those who share the same faith and hope in The Jimmy Fund as my family and I and am forever humbled by the opportunity to honor those who have been impacted by cancer.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for supporting my Jimmy Fund Walk fundraising efforts. Together, we can defy cancer!
