For the fifth time, I am participating in the 2021 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer! This walk coincides with Day 3 of the Komen 3-Day walk in Chicago, so my miles that day will do double duty. I walk for friends and family, including my mother, brother and brother in law who did not survive their cancers and for my sister in law who was diagnosed with breast cancer in the midst of the COVID craziness. She is doing well after surgery and radiation.
