In the midst of the chaos that this year has thrown at all of us, I lost my best fishing buddy; the guy that microwaved socks to keep my feet warm and thought I could do no wrong (most of the time).
Grampy passed away on March 13th after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
As we all continue to fight for our health and our sanity, we must not forget those that fight cancer everyday. For many, this year has meant delayed treatments, cancelled appointments, and lacking donations, which is why this may be the most important year of fundraising yet!
I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer and I ask that all of my friends and family support my team, the CAD-dle Ranchers with a donation of ANY size.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer.
