Me at the 2018 Jimmy Walk finish line - Let's do it again in 2019!

I am participating in the 2019 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk because I want to live in a world without cancer!

On Sunday, September 22, I will lace up my sneakers to walk along the world-renowned Boston Marathon course. I have pledge to walk 26.2 miles and raise $4000.00 to support Lynch Syndrome research.

Inherited mutations in genes that repair our DNA cause Lynch Syndrome. It is a dominant genetic condition which increases the risk of developing numerous cancers.

I have Lynch Syndrome. A routine colonoscopy in 2017 uncovered it, while being diagnosed with colon cancer and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Two and half years later, I am healthy; thanks to the good care received by the BWH and Dana Farber Institute.

Rare disorders like Lynch Syndrome are critically underfunded. All the proceeds raised by our team directly support Lynch Syndrome research, education and awareness.

Please help me reach my goal by making a donation to support my walk because together, we can conquer cancer!
