I'm participating in this event to help support cancer research, as well as care for pediatric and adult patients at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Cancer impacts all of us. Personally, my mother fought against lung cancer, and left this world far too early. My wife Jules’ father likewise passed away after a fight with neuroendocrine cancer. Hopefully the science that is being done now may change the experiences that friends and family will have in future years, and lead to better outcomes.
The worst experiences with cancer are those that strike a child. As a parent, I don’t know how others make it through that experience. The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber have done great work over the years trying to address childhood cancers, both in helping to find cures and helping families with compassion to cope with the challenges of treatment.
So I’m writing to ask you to consider giving any amount to support my walk and the work of Dana-Farber against cancer. Thanks for your support!
