There is so much to say and really not enough room to say it. As most of you are aware, Kim was diagnosed with cancer last June and is being treated at Dana Farber. After 23 years of walking to support the Institute, it just made sense. In the end, while still having a couple more years of treatments Kim remains cancer free.
This is my 24th year of walking to support the great work the Doctors do and we can now say that we know this first hand. This year is a tough year, Inflation and gas prices hurt everyone. Give if you can don't give if it'll hurt. But continue to send positive energy, for we love and appreciate you all.
This year though, I'm walking for my friend Aaron. He is 16 years old, has cancer, and has the greatest attitude. He's lost a portion of his leg and is using martial arts to rehab at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. He has given be the greatest gift by allowing me to help him in his recovery. He and his family have offered me lessons in hope and resilience and how its a catalyst for healing. This emboldens my efforts to help any way I can to put an end to this madness.
