I was devastated when my good friend Carolyn Harlow passed away six years ago from Multiple Myeloma. I wanted to do something to keep her memory alive so I organized her friends and family to establish our Jimmy Fund walking team, Heels for Harlow. Since then, we have raised over $120,000 for Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund.
I can tell you from personal experience that being part of the Jimmy Fund walk is an extremely satisfying experience. I hope you will consider joining our team. If you can't make that commitment, please consider making a donation here on my personal page, to another teammate or to our general team fund. Your generosity means so much to Carolyn's family, to her friends and to all the patients, doctors and caregivers at Dana-Farber.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
