While this year will look very different from past years, I will be walking the Jimmy Fund Walk for the 18th year in memory of my brother Will. After a long battle with a brain tumor, he died in 2003 at the age of 28. Instead of going to Boston and seeing everyone in person, we will be walking from home for the Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way. It certainly won't be the same not getting to be with my family and Boston friends, but we are continuing our fundraising and are taking the opportunity to explore some trails in our local area.
Instead of walking all of our miles in one day, we have decided that we will walk 26.2 miles together as a family over the course of a few weeks. These walks will be a combination of local walks in the neighborhood, hikes and nearby explorations.
All funds that our team raises will go directly to the Will Kraft Brain Tumor Research Fund, run by Dr. Patrick Wen. Your support helps support his incredible work.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
