2023 Walk - Hanging my ribbons on the Memorial Wall
Each year when I complete my walk, I hang two ribbons on the Memorial Wall. One ribbon is in memory of those I've lost to cancer; the second ribbon honors those who continue to fight it. I keep walking in hopes of keeping names off the first ribbon.
2024 will be my eleventh Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. I am amazed at the improved outcomes in cancer treatments since my first walk. Progress can only continue if we do our part in funding this work. Here is a quote from the current DFCI Campaign:
