When the Jimmy Fund Walk 2020 pivoted to 'Walking Your Way', I decided to walk the 13.1 miles in Borderland State Park in Easton, MA in memory of my dear friend Arleen. She was an avid hiker who had just lost her battle with cancer so it was particularly meaningful. I walk again this year in Arleen's memory with Team Walnut Hill to find a cure and I believe that every step taken and every dollar raised brings us closer to that end.
Through the generosity of friends and family I was able to reach Pacesetter status in 2020 and as honored as a featured Pacesetter this year. My sights are set on reaching Three Star Pacesetter this year but can't do it without your support.
The funds raised are used to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute; a center committed to cancer research, and to providing the best cancer treatment available. Every donation, no matter the size, advances their lifesaving mission.
I ask you to please join me in the fight against this horrible disease that has touched all our lives by considering a contribution toward my fundraising efforts.
I thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity.
