I started fundraising for Dana-Farber in 2014 when my mom, Jeanne Burchard, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She continued to live life to the fullest for the next 6 years not only because of the cutting-edge medical care she received but also due to the loving, respectful and personal interactions that she received from the doctors, nurses and all that she encountered at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  I will forever be thankful and indebted to them for those extra years with my mom. 

Since that time, myself, other family members and friends have been effected  by cancer. 

I'm reaching out again to ask for your help as I am participating in the 2023 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
