In 2017, my family and I created the Michael Coughlin Lung Cancer Research Fund in memory of Dad, who passed away from lung cancer in November 2016. The goal of the fund is to raise $100,000 for the thoracic oncology team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women in the United States. But over the past several years, the Dana-Farber team of doctors and researchers have led the way toward finding a cure, advancing our understanding of the disease. They have pioneered new approaches to treatment, and offer cutting-edge clinical trials. Their work will one day change the practice of medicine, and funding is critical to their efforts.
Please join us in supporting the doctors at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as they work toward finding a cure.
