Corinne displayed the mind, passion and drive to perform scientific research. Through her writing she earned an internship at DFCI in Dr Rizwan Haq's melanoma lab alongside Sascha. Corinne felt a sense of purpose and thrived on the work that summer. She enjoyed making connections, both with her colleagues and between her love of science and the tasks at hand.
Dr. Kimberly Stegmaier and her team at DFCI continue to research rhabdomyosarcoma, targeting its genetic basis, one day paving the way for effective medicines. The dollars that our walk team raises are a significant support to their work. We'd like to ensure that patients like Corinne have better, life saving treatments in the future. I hope you'll consider making a donation in Corinne's memory.
Together with help from people like you I'm confident we'll make a difference in the lives of children and youth who face a cancer diagnosis.
