By now most of our family and friends are aware that last year while the pandemic was blowing up, Our Family began a battle bigger than any pandemic. I was diagnosed with duodenal adenocarcinoma a rare but fast-spreading cancer in your small intestine.
3 Surgeries in 9 days, a month-long hospital stay completely alone, multiple complication, Chemo, Radiation followed by more Chemo and countless procedures. The entire time I remained as positive as possible, I come out of this with a new outlook on life, Cancer really puts things into perspective.
I pray that your family never has to experience this dreaded disease.
We have been participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk and Dana Farber Marathon challenge for several years and we will continue to help in anyway we can. Because of The Jimmy Fund the survival rate of people like myself continues to grow, it takes the support from the community to keep the research going.
I thank those who have donated in the Past and ask that you consider ANY SMALL DONATION
One thing I learned about Cancer it can hit anyone at any time.
These words from our beautiful daughter:
Love a little harder, forgive a little quicker, nurture your relations and DON’T Sweat the small stuff. There is always something to be grateful for-and most importantly do all things with more love, laughter and Kindness, words we should all live by.
We Thank you for supporting our Jimmy Fund Walk fundraising efforts. Together, we can conquer cancer!
