When I was 2 and a half years old, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). After years of chemotherapy, port surgeries, and countless stays in the hospital, I am now healthy and cancer-free. But I'm one of the lucky ones. Every year, roughly 1.8 million people will be diagnosed with cancer in the United States. It is more important than ever to take a stand against cancer and join together to stop the horrible disease.
I am participating in the 2021 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and compassionate patient care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my Jimmy Fund Walk fundraising efforts. Together, we can conquer cancer!
