I am participating in the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!!
Back in high school one of my favorite things to do was the Jimmy fun walk with my family. After Covid and finally being in the city for school I decided that I would jump back into the walk!! This fall I will be walking the full marathon again in dedication to my family who have fought and who are still fighting cancer.
I was always a stranger to the pain of cancer until fairly recently and I want to show my support in the fight and not just from the sidelines.
I want my family to know that even though I may not get the chance to visit them as often as I’d like, I think about them every day and I want them to continue living as healthy as they can.

This year instead of driving into the city for the walk I will be waking up here! I go to Simmons University in Boston, it will be very interesting walking the route that is now so familiar from all my walks around the city the past year and a half!
The walk is only a few months away and I would love any support in my walk with all the funds going to the Ovarian Cancer Brigade to help support the research in Ovarian Cancer to one day find a cure.
