Sunday, September 22, 2019 will be our family’s 17th Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk in Memory of Will Kraft. We walk in memory of Will who participated in the full Walk just months before he lost his 8 year battle with a brain tumor.
We walk each year to continue to honor his memory and the memories of the countless others that cancer took away from us. We walk to honor those who are still fighting and those that have beaten the odds. We walk in support of all the families and friends whose lives have been touched and forever altered by this horrible disease.
We walk in memory of Devin Suau, who will be 6 years old forever. Devin and his family fought valiantly against DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) where the chance of survival is less than 1%. BUT because of the Jimmy Fund and the research being done on finding a cure - Devin’s family had hope. Unfortunately, HOPE was not enough for Devin.
We need your support, so others like Devin and Will can have HOPE and A CHANCE- better odds. They deserve more and we can't get there without your help. Every dollar is important. Every donation increases the odds and gives more strength to their HOPE!
It's easy to have an impact on this important and universal cause. You can:
1. Make a gift online: give directly through our fundraising page: http://danafarber.jimmyfund.org/goto/Shapiros
2. Send in a check: Write a check payable to "Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk" with “The Shapiros” and participant ID 1022968 in the memo line and send it directly to the Jimmy Fund Walk at:

P.O. Box 3595
Boston, MA 02241-3595
3. We would also be grateful if you would search for your employer or check with your human resources department to find out if your organization will match your gift and double the impact.
Cancer touches all of us. We are doing our part to help conquer this disease and, with your help, we can move closer to the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. We appreciate your support.
