I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
A lot of my friends, and clients have reached out over the past few months asking for an update on #mightymax. He is still in remission after his bone marrow transplant 6 months ago and he just got his port removed!!!
Unfortunately, a little over 4 years of continuous treatment has certainly caused some damaged to his little body. and his immune system is in terrible jeopardy do to his bone marrow transplant and even more now with Covid-19.
However every person max meets he is a shining light in so many ways. Always finds the good in people and wants to help everyone else out. He sure reminds me everyday how to live life. Ill always be grateful for that gift.
i just want to say, i know Covid is taking over every aspect of our lives, but please remember cancer doesn't just stop because of a pandemic. a lot of critical fundraising is being impacted due to cancelations of charity events. I have once again signed up to walk in the jimmy find walk 2020 (virtual) and will be walking 26.2 miles on oct 4th with max's mom/sister inlaw.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
