On October 4 I will walk 13.1 miles for the Jimmy Fund. People ask "Why are you walking?" I am honored to say I am walking with the Sciarappa Strong team in memory of Corinne. Above is a picture of me from last year with a poster of Corinne. Corinne was planning to attend Northeastern to study cell and molecular Biology, but after more than four years of fighting Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), she passed away in June 2019 at age 18. She was a bright and creative spirit and we will all be thinking of her as we walk. Please consider a donation to the Jimmy Fund to support research to cure the rare childhood cancer ARMS:
I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
