I am participating in the 2018 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk with friends and family, in honor and support of my son Ethan.
Late May 2018, Ethan was diagnosed with both Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and leukemia. This turned his life upside down. He's three and a half months into therapy and doing his best to keep his spirits up. His prognosis is good and the odds are well in his favor.
He is now in an aggressive two-year treatment program at the Jimmy Fund Clinic that includes radiation therapy, intravenous chemotherapy, oral chemo, chemotherapy injected into his spinal column and oral steroids. Thankfully he is a strong young man.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Ethan's caregivers, as well as scientists at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I can tell you first hand, the care Ethan is given is exceptional.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. For Ethan and others, together, we can conquer cancer!
