On April 25, 2012 while playing with our Golden Retriever pup Bentley, my daughter Lisa was knocked over and bumped her head.. After a trip to the ER and a CT Scan we learned that Lisa had a brain tumor.
Since that time Lisa’s Brain Cancer has progressed and is now Glioblastoma which is the most aggressive form of the disease. Lisa would not be here today if it was not for extraordinary care that she continues to receive from her Oncologist Dr. David Reardon and the team at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and compassionate patient care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
I hope you will consider making a donation to show support for my daughter Lisa and the countless others that continue to fight every day.
With my sincere gratitude.
