Jordan & have joined the Jimmy Fund walk on Team Ritchie.
Ritchie Strangie was one of Kirsten's very best friend’s older brother who we loved & respected. He was also my dear friend's son. He was a young, happy, sports loving kid with a bright future ahead of him until just before his 26th birthday, when cancer in the form of a Wilms tumor struck.
Unexpected, uninvited and tragically it took over his body and within two years took his life. Although he was desperately loved and cared for, there was
no medical science that could save him.
Dana Faber created an amazing support system for all the members of his family. They helped Ritchie through every phase of treatment and never gave up on him. They are tirelessly working on research to find a cure so no other family has to suffer a loss like the Strangie’s and all who loved Ritchie had to endure. Ritchie was a fighter and kept a smile on his face every day.
It is for him that we have joined Team Ritchie and are walking the 2019 Jimmy Fund Walk on September 22nd. Jordan has met her goal, now my hope is to raise another $300 to help Dana Faber find a cure in memory of Ritchie and all those who have lost their battles with cancer.
Please consider sponsoring my walk, no donation is too small and every dollar is appreciated! The link below will bring you to my fundraising page where you can donate.
