I am participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer. I know this will happen in my life time because of Dana Farber Cancer Institute!
I am a Dana Farber snob and almost 15 years cancer free! I had cancer. My mom had cancer. My dad had cancer. My brother Kyle had cancer. The key work is HAD! But we know too many people do not survive cancer. I am glad we did. But you know what? It wasn’t because of my great attitude, strong will to live and the incredible support from all of you. (Though of course I love and appreciate all of you!) I am here today because I had Dana Farber and all that it is. DFCI is continuing its efforts - our dear Rosie is still with us! She will survive until the cure is here. I know it will happen and thank you for your continued support. Groundbreaking research and exceptional care is expensive.
