I am walking for my camp friend Alicia Fine who is an incredibly strong and incredible person. Please consider donating in her honor. Here is her story and the reason why I am by her side helping her fight:
“In 2018 I stepped through the doors at DFCI and was instantly enveloped in a world of care. Every step of my cancer journey, my team has been indefatigable in their efforts to find a cure, and are the most caring and compassionate caregivers one could imagine. In January of 2020 I learned my cancer had metastasized in my liver and lungs, and my care team came together stronger and more determined to help me fight.
I am hopeful that raising funds to find a cure will give everyone a fighting chance - and one day, we may have a world without cancer. “
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
