My mom, Carolyn Harlow, lived years longer than her doctors originally predicted thanks in part to the excellent treatment she received at Dana-Farber. I'm forever grateful for that extra time, and it's for this reason that I participate in the Jimmy Fund Walk. It's a great joy to come together annually to celebrate my mom's life and show our gratitude to the teams at Dana-Farber and Brigham & Women's who treated her and who continue to tirelessly research multiple myeloma.
Team Heels For Harlow has walked every year since 2013 and raised well over $100,000 for Dana Farber to research multiple myeloma and treat patients with this disease.
We also walk for my dad, Jonathan Harlow, to honor his life and the enthusiasm he brought to this walk each year.
My parents' love and generosity continues to shine through our participation in the Jimmy Fund Walk--thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts!
