WHY I'M FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO DEFY CANCER

On October 6th, I will be walking my 5th Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. My Papa, Peter Marino, walked the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund for 25 years. I walked alongside him on his final walk in 2017 when he was 79 years old. He walked for my Nana, a three-time cancer survivor, and raised over $133,000 with his fundraising efforts. This year, my family and I will be walking to honor my Papa's legacy for his 86th birthday on Walk Weekend! As always, he and my Nana will be cheering us on at the finish line.
