WHY I'M FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO DEFY CANCER

I am participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai.  


I walk in memory of Jeanne Rees, my mother. She was a wife, mother of two, and her favorite role granny (or Nee) to three amazing grandchildren. She was also a cancer survivor for 20 years. Sadly last year on June 9th she lost her battle with lung cancer.  Today I am raising money directly for her team of doctors so that they may one day find a cure and no one else has to endure the struggles mom did.
