Cancer has touched the lives of so many friends and family. I walk in memory of my dear husband Ray, and in honor of all those medical professionals, at Dana Farber, past and present, who gave him such loving care - Dr. Philip Kantoff, the Fellows he mentored - among them Susan Domchek and Gerald Blobe, nurse practioner Sandra Kelly, infusion nurse Beth..and all those that walked with us those 14 years never giving up on us. I walk in honor of all the researchers who spend their days seeking new and better treatments, and for those patients, like Ray, who became part of the research team in clinical trials. But I walk for so many more. I walk in memory and honor of all those who have faced cancer with grace and courage and hope, among them from my family and friends: Beth B. , Phil, Penney, Oriett, Michael, Christine, Hal, Ginger, Sue, Donna, Channing, Beth G.-H.. Kristian, Marianne, Will, Manny, Stan, Peter, William, Larry, Derek, George, my band sister Michelle H. ...
