In January of 2019, my daughter, Abigail Collins, was diagnosed with a rare, highly aggressive form of Cancer (Osteosarcoma). It first presented in her leg, which we took equally aggressive steps to treat, including chemo first, then a rotationplasty.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of Abby, her Oncology and Surgical Teams, Abby was unable to win her battle; passing away 10 months later when the Cancer spread to her lungs.
We have vowed to keep Abby's memory alive and, in the spirit of her kindest, attempt to do our part in raising awareness and funding for all the other families out there waging their own battles.
Of course, this is only possible by the overwhelming support we've received by our family, friends, extended community and strangers that have been more than generous with their time and money than I could have ever imagined.
Last year this army raised over $14,000. I know, together, we can raise that bar!
I'm asking for your help to make an impact and improve the lives of those dealing with this horrific disease.
We love and miss you, Abby!
