I am participating in the 2019 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk in honor of my brave friend, Chloe.
Chloe was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after discovering a lump in her neck while traveling in Scotland. Luckily, she was proactive and had it examined by a doctor soon after she returned. She received the terrible news on our dear friend’s birthday, the same day she moved in with her long-time boyfriend.
Luckily, Chloe’s doctor at Dana Farber, Dr. Ann LaCasce, has been extremely supportive throughout the whole treatment process. It’ll be an honor to raise money for her practice with Chloe once she is cancer-free in September!
At 25, it was truly a shock for Chloe and her (literal thousands of) friends and family to hear that Chloe was sick. She has been so courageous and continues to maintain her bright and goofy personality throughout this grueling process.
Please join me in supporting Chloe, Dr LaCasce, and the millions of other people across this world in our fight against cancer.
