On November 19th, 2002, my cousin Todd Schwartz, of of the brightest lights there was, lost his battle to cancer! Toddy was a complete jokester and goofball that never once, even while sick, put himself before anyone else! He lived his life to the fullest with positivity and happiness, found the good in everyone and made sure that FAMILY IS EVERYTHING no matter what! Todd’s spirit and drive lives through his amazing parents, Janet and John, and his equally amazing sisters, Laura and Amy! Their hope is to have families all over continue to reach milestone moments and make memories together in a cancer free world!
Since Toddy’s passing, his family has raised WELL OVER one million dollars that goes directly to Todd’s doctors that have been doing intense research to fight cancer and recently to help tackle Covid-19!
This November it will be 18 years since he passed. The number 18 represents “chai” in the Jewish tradition. “Chai” means “life.” I hope we can continue to celebrate life. I hope that kids like Todd can grow into healthy adults, living LIFE to their fullest in a cancer free world! While birthdays are not my thing, they are, however, milestone moments for someone battling cancer! Keeping in the theme of “to life” and the number 18, I am joining my cousins on their Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk team (TEAM TODD). For my birthday, I have chosen to walk 18 miles on July 18th to make sure that cancer patients to have more birthday celebrations, milestone moments and memories with their loved ones!
Thank you for donation and supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
