I am participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward improving the quality of life for children with serious illness (and their families).
This year, I’m excited to announce that I will be joining Marsha Joselow & Lauren Carmer in co-captaining Kessler's Crew / PACT Pack.
The Jimmy Fund Walk is an incredible fundraising opportunity for our pediatric palliative care team (PACT), as well as for the patients and their families our team serves. Funds raised go to support the PACT Quality of Life Fund which provides life enhancing opportunities for PACT patients and their families. It would be hard to share a comprehensive list of all the ways these funds go to support patients and their families, a few specifics include our robust bereavement program, quality of life items including gift cards to Starbucks, Target, VISA, Stop & Shop, patient/family experiences (outings / memory making), and home-necessities (fridge, air conditioner, mattress pad, fan, weighted blanket).
